Run GT-SUITE models on HiL platforms
PRODUCT OVERVIEW
GT-SUITE-RT moves GT-SUITE models out of the desktop and into real time. Supplied as a Simulink S-function, it drops straight into a controls environment, letting engineers pair physics-based plant models with control system logic long before hardware exists to test against.
GT-SUITE-RT supports both being lead and copy forms of interoperability with controls modeling tools, thus allowing GT models to be exported and run within a lead controls modeling tool (Simulink, for instance), or for the controls tool model to be exported as a DLL (or FMU) and run directly within GT-SUITE-RT. For moving to HiL-based environments, GT models are quickly and semi-automatically converted to real-time capable, fast-running or reduced-order models (FRM, ROM), and ported to popular HiL systems.
Empowering the 1D User
GT-SUITE-RT enables teams to seamlessly deploy high-fidelity GT-SUITE models to real-time HiL platforms, accelerating validation workflows, improving collaboration between simulation, controls, and test teams, and minimizing cross-department iteration.
Supported HiL platforms:
Run GT-SUITE model at real-time in a MiL style workflow. This allows rapid controls prototyping and software development. It can also be used by calibration engineers to explore calibration sensitivity prior to performing a test.
Using GT-SUITE-RT, engineers can run GT models at real-time with hardware in the loop. This includes Control Modules, Actuators (throttle, valves, etc.), and many more real components of a system. This allows an engineer to understand the real behavior of components and software.
